Our party's focus for the next 92 days is to recruit, train and motivate conservatives across the county and secure a 100 percent Republican victory in November. I have organized an Election Committee to plan and execute a strategy to secure the election of all of our nominees. The Election Committee includes seasoned campaigners as well as fresh, energetic voices. This diverse combination will expand our reach and influence and lead to a stronger grassroots party.
Of course, a county-wide Election Committee is only a small part of the effort needed to achieve our goal. We need all conservatives in every precinct to help us achieve victory. Our future is at stake and our children deserve our vigilant advocacy. We can and must turn our neighbor's frustration with the liberal Obama/Reid/Pelosi agenda into motivated action.
One of the goals of the Election Committee is to turn out the vote in the 2nd Congressional District in Utah County. This is the year to defeat Matheson; to replace Pelosi as Speaker and reverse the nation's destructive path toward socialism. We need every concerned Republican to get behind Morgan Philpot, a true conservative who will make a great Representative.
The Election Committee will need our help to achieve this and other goals. The first task is for every Precinct Chair to divide the precinct into smaller sections (blocks) and appoint block captains. (Any precinct leaders who are unsure about how to accomplish this should seek the help of their Legislative District Officers.) This county-wide network of Block Captains will be on the front lines of our campaign season strategy.
Please let your Precinct Chair know if you can assist with any of the following:
· neighborhood and precinct organizing
· registering new voters
· assisting with literature drops and sign placement
· support and participate at events and rallies
· participating in door-to-door advocacy
· poll-watching
Our August 28 Central Committee meeting will be devoted to our organizing and Get Out the Vote efforts. We urge all members of the County Central Committee to mark the date on your calendars and commit to attend and participate in the training.

While they will provide the strategy and structure for success, to attain the victory, we need all Republican hands on deck. Let your precinct chair, or any member of this committee know how you would like to be involved.
